Pack Troubles / Game Troubles (?)

I'm not entirely sure if it's EA itself or the newest pack I just bought. So, I just bought Businesses and hobbies, right? Well, everything seemed normal until i went into my game. Upon going into the game, it wasn't downloaded, even after downloading it. It glitched out and said I had 13 packs but when pressing it, it says I had 14. It happens a lot, but nothing could get it to work. I mean NOTHING. Until I tried to restart my PC, which didn't work. It won't let me restart the sims OR EA. Is there ANY WAY to get the pack working? Or EA ENTIRELY?

I forgot to mention once I finally got back in, EA kicked me out of the app and the Forums. I don't know what to do :(

  • 17438q2​  If you still need help, please restart your computer again.  You can kill any EA or Sims-related processes in the Task Manager if necessary; make sure to look in the background processes list too.  Then go here:

    C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

    and launch the EAUpdater.exe, which will force-update the App.

    Next, clear the App's cache:

    and repair the game (EA App > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair), then see whether you can play, and if so, whether your packs are all loading.
