amelie2327 I'm so glad to hear that. The setting is probably on by default because the motherboard manufacturer wants its customers to get as much performance out of their hardware as possible. The problem is that the settings often push things too far—there's a very small difference between maximum performance and an unstable overclock. It's a common issue these days.
The next time you install a BIOS update, try turning the setting on again and see what happens. It's possible a future update will fix the issue, and now that you know where to find the setting, it's an easy test.
