My post was addressed to @Sofifa57 but I understand your nervousness well. For now, we do not know what may be the cause of this error, so we need as many diagnoses as possibleUPDATE: After putting my system up to date on everything. It seems I cannot play any video now. Worked a few hours ago, but not now. This includes Vudu online...
UPDATE: I reverted to an older video driver and I play video but the Sims 4 issue is still the same. I'm not sure what changed from last week when it was working except a Windows 10 update.
Try to uninstall the latest Windows update > Reboot > Test.
If that don't helps, preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode.
