@emalicious1205  Sorry for the late-ish reply.  Yes, you did this correctly, and it makes the issue clear: Cats & Dogs has been installed into the CAS Demo folder rather than the program files for Sims 4 itself.  I've merged your post with the master thread for this issue; please see the first post on page one for a fix.

@Liggie1  The same is true for you as well: Cottage Living is installed into the CAS Demo folder.  Please see the first post on page one.

At first I renamed the ones in the demo file and it didn’t work so I moved them over to the program file but it didn’t work and then I removed them as I had no use for them and it still didn’t work. I have been clearing the cache eith each attempt. Is there anything I’ve missed or done wrong?

@emalicious1205You have to rename the entire demo folder (ex. The Sims 4 Create A Sim Demo-), not the pack folder. Then delete the pack files inside it. 
After that the ea app should allow you to re-download the pack in the manage add-on section

hey, i just tried doing this and they've banned my account and it didn't give me my packs.

Live support can also help you submit an appeal to the Terms of Service team if you've been banned- here on the forums we wouldn't have access to your account information to investigate into this with you.
