DarthEmpress Thanks for the dxdiag, but it unfortunately doesn't make clear the source of the crashing. The two Sims 4 errors it lists basically say the game crashed because it crashed. It's possible you have the same issue as other players with high-end Intel CPUs that the motherboard may overclock by default, which is sometimes solved with a BIOS update, so look for one for your board. If you don't see one though, the next step is messing with BIOS settings, so let's put that aside for now.
The Options.ini file stores all your in-game options, graphics and otherwise. Are you changing any settings after you load the game for the first time post-deletion of the file? If so, please list the settings you're changing, in case one of those is the culprit.
Please also let me know what world(s) you're playing in, and whether the game runs better in a new save in one of the base game worlds and without any content from the Gallery or your own library.
