(PC) Constant Crashes

Since the July 1st update, I've encountered constant crashes to desktop which I've never experienced before. Here's a list of everything I've done as well as a dxdialog attached: NO mods or CC Upd...

DarthEmpress​  Thanks for the dxdiag, but it unfortunately doesn't make clear the source of the crashing.  The two Sims 4 errors it lists basically say the game crashed because it crashed.  It's possible you have the same issue as other players with high-end Intel CPUs that the motherboard may overclock by default, which is sometimes solved with a BIOS update, so look for one for your board.  If you don't see one though, the next step is messing with BIOS settings, so let's put that aside for now.

The Options.ini file stores all your in-game options, graphics and otherwise.  Are you changing any settings after you load the game for the first time post-deletion of the file?  If so, please list the settings you're changing, in case one of those is the culprit.

Please also let me know what world(s) you're playing in, and whether the game runs better in a new save in one of the base game worlds and without any content from the Gallery or your own library.

    Thank you for your help. 

    I did do a BIOS update earlier this year because of another game, Avowed, so that seems to be up to date. The game never crashed before even when I did play with mods. I haven't played with mods since before Life & Death and did a clean install after removing all of them.

    The settings I changed after deleting Options.ini is turning off help/discovery quests, turning off online notifications, and sometimes changing to windowed mode (it's crashed both in windowed mode and full screen). I just recently decided to check the box for directx 9 and Laptop Mode (even though I have a desktop) and that has seemed to help some. It only crashed once after several hours of playing.

    The game runs the same in a new save vs and old save, same when I bring in content from the gallery. I also do not play with apartments in my game, but I do have the For Rent expansion. I play mostly in the occult worlds but also Willow Creek.
