@shreeree08  There are a number of Windows errors in your dxdiag, some of which are likely harmless.  Still, a good place to start would be with a couple of commands to check Windows system files.  Here's how to run them:

    • Hit Windows key-X
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
    • Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes into the window, and enter
    • The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
    • After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
    • Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator)”
    • Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes into the window, and enter
    • Post the message you receive here

Afterwards, open your Origin library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties, then Advanced Launch Options, and make sure the 64-bit version is listed.  If you don't see the setting, right-click on the Sims 4 icon and select Repair, then look again.

Please try to launch TS4 a couple of times.  If it still doesn't work, I'd like to see the recent Reliability Monitor entries for TS4 and Origin.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes into the box.  The Reliability Monitor will have a list of entries for each day.  For any from the last two days that mention either Sims 4 or Origin, click "View technical details," copy the information into a text document (Notepad works fine), and then attach the document to a post here.

@shreeree08  Can you please take a screenshot of the error, showing the command window in the background as well?  Hit Windows key-shift-S and drag your cursor over the section of screen you want to capture.  Then click the popup in the lower right corner of your screen to open the screenshot, save it as whatever you want, and upload it here.

this is after scanning the files the message I received tried sims And it didn't work checked the settings and it is correctly set.  very last part of the process Reliability Monitor entries for TS4 and Origin and there was nothing regarding sims 4 or origin??

copied and pasted below the message from scanning.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

@shreeree08  Are you still getting error messages when you try to launch TS4?  If so, please take a screenshot and upload it here.

Try running Origin as an administrator, as in, right-click on the Origin icon and select Run as administrator.

And try disabling your antivirus/firewall software—temporarily, just long enough to test.

@shreeree08  The DISM error is because you pasted the command twice.  Please try again, but make sure to paste it only once.

Please let me know whether disabling your antivirus/firewall helps.

And try removing your entire Sims 4 folder from Documents\Electronic Arts; you can put it on your desktop.  If the game launches, it will create a new folder.

While troubleshooting, be sure to run Origin as an admin every time.

I'm going to bed now, but I'll check back in the morning.  If the above steps don't work either, perhaps someone else will have an idea in the interim.

@shreeree08 I would add: keep in mind that if you do disable your antivirus/firewall , your device may be vulnerable to threats. I still question this practice, why it is required by EA/ Maxis/ Origin.

@shreeree08  I apologize for the late response; things got crazy yesterday.

There's plenty you can still try.  One of the simpler interventions is to uninstall and reinstall the VC++ redistributables that Sims 4 uses.  Click the Windows icon in the lower left corner of your screen and select Settings > Apps.  Scroll to where the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables are listed, and uninstall both the x86 and x64 versions for both the 2010 and 2013 editions.  Then download and install new ones directly from Microsoft:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13523

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

(You don't need the _arm.exe version in the third link; that's for a different type of processor.)

If this doesn't work, let me know, and I'll suggest something else.  There should be a way to get the game going again; it's just a question of figuring out what needs to be repaired or reinstalled.

@shreeree08  Alright, it's worth installing the 2015 VC++ runtimes as well, since Origin uses them (but not Sims 4).

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685

Are you running Origin or Sims 4 in compatibility mode?  If so, please undo that setting—both run fine in Windows 10.

If you still can't get the game to open, try a clean uninstall of Origin.  First, clear Origin's cache:

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

Then use Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine, either regular or portable) to remove all traces of Origin, except for the Origin Games folder.  Here's how:

    • Quit Origin, then right-click on the Task Bar and open the Task Manager.  Scroll through looking for Origin entries.  If you find any, click on them and End Task.
    • Download Revo Uninstaller from here (again, the free versions are fine).
    • Install Revo, open it, and uninstall Origin.  When it's finished, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use.  Select "Moderate" and then Browse.
    • If Revo finds any remaining registry entries, select all, delete, and click Next.
    • Revo will display "Remaining Data and Folders.  Select all of them except for the "Origin Games" folder.  (This is where TS3 and other Origin games are located.)  Delete the rest.
    • Restart your computer.

Next, download and install Origin—the regular version, not the beta.  Here's the direct download link:

    http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe

Be sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin: right-click on each and select "Run as Administrator."
