Sims 4 - Create-sim Bug

While I'm creating sims, after a time (midway through first sim or upon second sim), it no longer allows me to click anything. At that time I can click and it'll expand the selections and then acts like it's going back and remains in rotation mode when I try to click on a part of my sim. I cannot DO anything, I can't save, I can't exit - I can't click or do anything... This needs to be fixed because I JUST bought this and I'm already regretting wasting my money on a dysfunctional game.... I was looking forward to the game, but not if I have this issue where I can't even PROGRESS >___< I'm so frustrated!

I'd restarted my computer, I'd turned my mouse pad on and off, even attached a standard mouse to my computer to use and it DOESN'T help.

Someone please help.

    I uninstalled this and re-installed. I cannot make a family. Help me, EA.

    This thread did not help me.

    This is a bug, we shouldn't have to do so many different things just to play, it needs to be fixed. That's too much effort to do this multiple times in creation mode just to start playing the darn game. 20 times on 3 characters is too much.

    It's the only suggestions I have for you.

    It's been forwarded to EA but until it's fixed there's only the workarounds that seem to help some people.

    Along with this recent update, I now not only cannot create new sims but cannot play IN game, as it does not allow me to click on anything upon entering the game.

    In Live mode? There's also a thread for that in the bug list. Look und er GUI issues.On my phone. Can't geht you the link

    Not exactly.

    In Create a sim mode, and now with the update the same issue is happening in Live Mode. I can't Click on anything and it goes into this camera mode. These are no longer two specific things but now going on throughout the game in all areas.

    So you have the stuck camera pointer in live mode ? 

    Are you using a mouse or touchpad ?

    I self-fixed the issue where no one could help me, and this issue has come back with the update as well as another issue (already taken care of). I'll be in the middle of creating a family and it goes back to camera mode and I cant exit, click anything in screen, and end up having to use task manager to 'end task'. Seriously, EA, get your * together. How can we play if you can't take care of this error? Haven't you had enough time by now to fix it??

    If this can't be fixed, I want my money back. This is ridiculous.
