0727808 I apologize for the late reply; I've been away from the forums for a while.
This is an EA App error, nothing directly about Sims 4. If it didn't happen at the same time as a black screen, you can ignore it. If it DID happen at the time of a black screen, you can try uninstalling the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), using the Advanced scanning method, and reinstalling.
Please also install the newest Intel graphics driver Dell offers for your laptop, if you haven't already. You can find it here:

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
