jhanihello56 I've split your post into its own thread because the other thread was somewhat old.
If you're running Windows 7, please force Sims 4 to run in DirectX 9 mode. Open the EA App, select Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx9 to the command line box.
If that doesn't help, or you're not running Windows 7, please post a screenshot of the error. Please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
