Sims 4 DLC Shows as Installed but Still Says “Buy” In-Game

I’m having an issue with The Sims 4 where my purchased DLC is showing as installed in the EA app, but the game itself does not recognize that I own the packs.

I purchased the Love & Family Bundle and The Sims 4 Get Together directly through the EA website. I did not purchase these packs through Steam. When I check my EA Order History, both purchases show as Completed, so the purchases went through successfully.

The problem starts when I open The Sims 4. In the EA app, I can go to The Sims 4 → Manage → Manage add-ons, and both of my purchases/content show as Installed. However, when I actually launch The Sims 4 and go to the Marketplace, Get Together still shows a “Buy” button even though I already purchased it. The other content from my purchases also isn’t appearing as owned in the way it should.

I have already tried clearing the EA app cache and restarting the game, but the problem is still happening.

There is also some confusion involving Steam. My Sims 4 installation was originally being managed through Steam, and the EA app showed “Manage on Steam.” My Steam account is connected to my EA account, but the email address on my Steam account is different from the email address on my EA account. However, the Steam account is connected to the correct EA account, which is the EA account where I purchased the DLC.

I also uninstalled The Sims 4 through Steam, but the EA app continued to show the game as being managed through Steam. I have not removed The Sims 4 from my Steam account, and I have not intentionally unlinked my Steam account from EA because I don’t want to accidentally lose access to my game, DLC, or saves.

At this point, I’m confused because every place I check seems to say something different

I do not want to purchase the packs again because I have already paid for them.I’m mainly trying to figure out why the EA app recognizes that I purchased and installed the DLC, while The Sims 4 Marketplace does not recognize that I own it.Could someone please help me determine whether this is an EA account entitlement/license issue, a Steam/EA linking issue, or something that needs to be refreshed on EA’s end?I can provide screenshots of my completed orders, the Manage Add-ons page showing the packs as installed, and the Sims 4 Marketplace showing the “Buy” button if needed.I would really appreciate help getting my purchased DLC recognized in-game. I just want to be able to play with the packs I already paid for without having to purchase them a second time.

Checked Manage Add-ons in the EA app and confirmed the packs say Installed

Opened The Sims 4 and checked the Marketplace

Confirmed Get Together still says “Buy”

    Cleared the EA app cache

    Restarted the EA app

    Restarted The Sims 4

Uninstalled The Sims 4 through Steam

Checked that my Steam account is connected to the correct EA account

Confirmed that my Steam email and EA email are different, but the accounts are still linked

Did not unlink Steam because I don’t want to risk losing access to my game, DLC, or saves

Did not repurchase either pack because I already paid for them
