Sims 4: Error 801 and "Sims 4 has stopped working"

I've had many issues with the Sims 4 over the years, but today I have two 😞

The first issue I had: I opened a save game and tried to build on a lot which I've never had problems with before. It loads for about a minute, then goes back to World Selection and says that I have Error 801, and it suggests I reload the game. When I try to go into the lot a second time (without reloading the game), it doesn't go back to world select, but just keeps loading for a long time, so I have to close the game through the task manager. So i close and re-open the game, it does the same exact thing. I try it on the same lot many times, i took out all my mods one time and it still didn't work. So I close the game and decide that I'm going to try it on a different lot this time, which leads to my second problem.

The second issue I had: When I attempted to re-open the game to try it on another lot, on the startup loading screen with the spinning plumbob, a popup shows up that says "The Sims 4 has stopped working." I've gotten this on the sims before, but now it's recurring in the exact same place everytime I open the game: The spinning plumbob loading screen on startup, after about 45 seconds of spinning. I have this same problem with and without my mods in, and I cleared my origin cache, it still happens.

Can someone please help? I can't solve the first issue without solving the second one first, sadly.

    To Crinrict: I tried to go into the lot on an earlier version of the save file and it still did the same thing.

    Also, just incase you need some extra information, the save this was happening on should be called "Extra Build Save". Like I said in the first post, I didn't test to see if the issue was happening on any other save files or lots aside from an earlier version of the same save file (I meant to, but now the game won't get through the second startup loading screen, so I can't). The lot I kept testing was the 50x50 lot next to the Spencer-Kim-Lewis house in Willow Creek.

    What do you mean? Are you talking about earlier versions of the save file it was happening on or a completely different one? I didn't check to see if the bug was happening on any other files.

    Ah, earlier versions of the save.  When the lots were playable. Unfortunately, for this particular issue the team isn't able to investigate saves that are already broken.  We're trying to find out how the saves went from a good state to a bad state.

    Well I did try it on an earlier version of the save, but only one, and it still had the bug. Though, I didn't see what the date on it was, but i know it was the most recent one on the list. I would try an even earlier version to see if it happens there too, cause I didn't get a chance to do that.

    Hey, haven't heard from ya in a while, have you found anything else out yet? I still can't open the game, it's always the same error in the same place.
