Sims 4 glitch

I have been playing my sims 4 on my laptop since I got it and never had any issues. A couple days ago, my game has started glitching and I have no idea why. I recently bought some expansion packs such as parenthood and toddler stuff. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my game and repairing my game through origin and nothing is working. Someone please help!!

    could you give us a few more details on how it's glitching ? What's happening ? Any errors ? Are you using cc/mods ?

    I don't have any CCs or mods and have never even downloaded any. The glitching starts at the loading screen and gets worse. I haven't gone into actually playing the game since the glitching started so I'm not sure if anything in gameplay is messing up. I Tried taking a picture of it but my phone can't capture it. The best way I can describe it is that it looks like the cd got scratched but I own the downloadable version so there is no CD. There are no error that come up and my computer is working perfectly fine with everything else minus this game ):

    Try repairing the game through origin and try some playing around with your graphics settings
