irenemaria96xo It's unlikely that mods have anything to do with this, but any time you run into an issue with a modded Sims 4, the first test should be to remove the mods.
The next question is, does this happen if you run the game on the integrated graphics chip? That could be the difference between charging and not—your laptop might be using the iGPU to conserve battery when not plugged in, and the dedicated graphics card when charging. Point is, try forcing it to use the iGPU. Open Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics, click Browse, add TS4_x64 to the list, and choose the power-saving option. Do the same for TS4_Launcher_x64 and TS4_DX9_x64. Let me know whether it makes a difference.
Either way, please also provide a dxdiag. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
