Permission Error when launching The Sims 4 - need help

Question

Hi everyone,&nbsp;I'm running into a permission error when trying to update the Sims 4. Every time I update the game, I get an error message related to file or folder access. I've tried EVERYTHING, but nothing has worked so far.&nbsp;I have accepted the SYSTEM in security. I have cleared cache. I have cleaned boot windows. I have re-installed the app. I do not know what to do anymore :(Is this a problem with Windows? Or is there something else I can do?Please help.&nbsp;

mimoi1234​&nbsp; Sorry for the late reply; I've been away from the forums for a while, and I guess no one else picked up your thread.&nbsp; If you still need help, please temporarily disable your antivirus, and clear the EA App's cache and repair the game (Sims 4 &gt; Manage &gt; Repair).

As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe, and you can reenable the antivirus once you've tested Sims 4.
