Sims 4 is Greyed Out In Origin Games Menu
Hello! I have recently had an issue with playing the Sims 4, the issue being that it is greyed out in the Origin select menu. I consulted a few other similar questions, but the others' problem was that the update wasn't working and it was thus unplayable until they got the update to activate. However, with mine, there is no indication of an update being available, and I updated Origin just yesterday. I own the Sims 4 Digital Deluxe Edition with Get to Work, the Holiday stuff pack, all of the extras that came with digital deluxe, and a fairly large amount of custom content. I have had the game since release date, and have never experienced this problem up until now. Any help is appreciated, and I hope that you have a lovely day!
Try right-clicking on the game in Origin and choose repair game.
If that is NOT available, try the following (basically does the same):
- Change your language to something different.
- Wait till it's finished
- Change the language back to what you had it.
