I have a brand new computer. The game was playing fine in January. Ever since I was unable to get in to play till now, everytime I'm in the middle of playing it crashes and it is not saving that game where I saved it last. It starts back over. Very frustrated. Repaired the game several times. EA app is up to date. My BIOS is up to date. I'm unsure of what to do.
TheTinyDancer1 Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Separately, are you saying that you save your progress, and the next time you load the game after a crash, that save state is completely gone? Or are parts of it gone and parts still intact? The two issues are very different and point to distinct causes.
I end up having the same issue as another player. I had to turn off the CPU Turbo Booster. Thank you for all the help.
