Steam DLC and the EA app

Hello!

      Is there a way to buy dlc on the ea app that you currently own on steam? I bought dlc on steam a long time ago when i first started playing sims but later uninstalled it. a few years later, i now mainly play through the ea app. 

      When i look at 'manage dlc' under the ea app, the dlc i purchased through steam are in the list even though i never linked my account to ea (to my memory). Whenever i click on the dlc packs through the ea store, i can not buy it again, i can only 'manage through steam'.

      Is there a way to fix this or am i just screwed to play through steam only? Please help, Im not sure what to do.
