sims 4 keeps crashing after the update

Hi, I can't seem to open my Sims 4 after the recent update. At first, when I tried to open it, EA apps said that "there is an error on our end caused your launch to fail." I've tried several attempts to solve it, like moving my old progress to the other disk, uninstalling and reinstalling my sims game, and clearing the cache on EA app, but none of them work. and I just leave it be.

And this week, when I tried opening it again, I don't think "an error on our end" is the issue now. The game launches for several seconds, but it crashes down.

Here is the dxdiag. Man, I miss playing my sims. ): I wish it could be resolved soon. tia!

  • nadeuu  Thanks for the dxdiag, which doesn't list any Sims 4 errors.  That could mean the game is being blocked from loading rather than crashing, or that the crashes have been crowded out by newer errors.  So please try to play again, then look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time you most recently tried to open Sims 4.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

If you still don't see an error, please let me know what antivirus you use, and whether OneDrive is running on this computer, even if you never use it.
