sims 4 keeps crashing on the intro screen - sick of this
someone help me out. i've been working on this for about five days now. i've done everything - uninstalled and reinstalled the sims, (3 times!) uninstalled and reinstalled the ea app, validated all files about twenty times, removed all saves folders, removed all cc folders, moved the files to my desktop to create a clean file, restarted my computer, cleared up loads of disk space, deleted the sims 4 folder, deleted the ea folder, repaired the ea app, checked if windows firewall was blocking it, checked my drivers, and nothing is working! it just lags through the intro (recently, i got it to play some buggy music as the intro played) and then freezes on the title screen before minimizing itself and crashing. i can't stand this anymore. someone please help me out here. i've put my dxdiag below if it's any help.
also: something odd i noticed. what's meant to be a shortcut to the sims 4 on my desktop is instead a ".url" file with no thumbnail. don't know what that means.
