Sims 4: Lot from gallery won't download?

Sims 4: Whenever I hover over the download button, it says "cannot place lot in this game mode???" it won't let me click the download button! Help

  • In which mode are you ?

Build mode ? Map Mode ?

It works best from build mode in my experience but it should also work from map but not for example from the move in map.

  • I think sometimes you may receive this message if the content you are trying t download contains things from packs you do not have and therefore may not be compatible with your game?  Example: The content you are trying to download house ect..has things in it from the Patio stuff exspansion pack and you don't have that exspansion.?

all you have to do is go into build mode in a world and click open the gallery.

go into build mode when you are on the lot otherwise it won't work.
  • @MBurg517It won't be from un owned CC or expansion packs ~ You'd be able to place the house but then it would tell you they're not on their computer and will remove those items.
