Sims 4 never ending plumbob screen
My Sims 4 opens properly, however, when I click on the play button to actually play, I am stuck at the loading screen at which I never get to play the game anymore. Why is this, and how can I fix it?

That is almost always a sign the game crashed and the only way to get out of the application is to end it via Task Manager.
Here are a few things that you can try:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling Origin (Your games will still be installed and all that)
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the Sims 4
- Repairing the Sims 4 via Origin (Right-click the Sims 4 in your game library and click "Repair Game")
- Clear the Sims 4 cache
- Clear Origin's cache
If you have cc installed do you take it out before any of those steps?
