LittleRedK I apologize for the late reply; I haven't been able to answere posts here for a while. If you're still having trouble, please let me know which loading screen the game crashes on. If it's the first one, before you even choose a save, are you by any chance adding tattoos to your sims? There's a known issue with saves corrupting that's tattoo-related, although that may not be the only cause.
At any rate, if your game is crashing before the Main Menu, try removing your saves folder, then creating a new save with just generic sims and not editing them at all. Let me know how it goes.
