Sims 4 Royalty & Legacy pack not showing as purchased/downloaded

it's been over 24 hours since i purchased the Royalty & Legacy expansion pack through the EA app. when i opened the game immediately after downloading it, the pop up appeared at the start of the game like it always does when you've downloaded a new pack. so my game knows that i downloaded. it. 

but when i went to CAS and tried using the pack's CAS content filter, it says "You do not have this content" and was not clickable. the same with Build/Buy. and the world itself (i think it's called Ondarion?) is not available to click on to travel to. it says "World not installed. When this pack has finished downloading restart The Sims 4 to install it".

i got my confirmation email. the introductory pop up appeared in game, my EA Manage Add-Ons shows it as installed. 

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. i have tried repairing the game. i have tried deleting the cache folder. i have waited 24 hours. i have completely closed out of the game through Task Manager multiple times. i've done everything that online help forums have said to do and i still don't have access to this content. 

i own every single expansion pack as well as most of the game packs, stuff packs, and kits......and i've never once had this issue.

i've also used the AI chat bot thing to try and solve this but it only just kept sending me to the same pages that had me trying all those things i already mentioned and a few other things like checking the game status online etc. i did everything suggested and nothing is working. someone please help?

    i found another post asking this same thing. this is the reply and it fixed it for me!!!

    "Please open Marketplace > My Collection and see whether your packs are deactivated.  If they are, you can enable them with the Pack Selection button, then restart the game."

    Same problem here. I'm talking to chat now, and they are telling me to "please wait" until it's resolved but others have had this issue for over a month. I have almost every pack, and I'm having to beg for a refund. They told me they wouldn't even be able to follow up with me when resolved. Just "check back"

  • I also have the same problem. Ive even removed sims 4 completely and downloaded it again and its still not showing up. It also took out of my bank account.

  • i can't figure out if there is a way to edit my original post or not so i'm adding this. i looked in the Sims 4 in-game Marketplace and i went to My Collection - Expansion Packs, over the Royalty & Legacy pack it says DEACTIVATED. when i click on the pack it shows as owned. 

    what do i do to fix this??? the only thing i've seen that will fix it is that EA has to do it, it's nothing i can do on my own.
    again, i purchased the game fully legally through the EA app. and this has never happened to any other pack i've purchased.
