Sims 4 Will Not Launch

I have been having this issue for over 2 weeks where I'll hit play on the EA app for the Sims 4 and nothing but a blank white screen comes up. My computer's fans start whirring like crazy until I clo...

BSCG99​  Your dxdiag is full of crashes of the graphics driver, so please update the driver to the newest version Intel offers:

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer afterwards and before trying to play.

If you get an error when trying to install the driver, use this workaround:

    I followed the instructions and did not encounter any errors when installing the newer driver, however my game is still presenting the same issues as before. Everything appears properly updated in device manager, however I think the dxdiag is still showing the same crashes.
