sims 4 will not update

I was away from home for a while because I was traveling. As soon as I got back, I updated The Sims because I really wanted to play the new expansion. However, after the first update, it asked me to update again. I updated it, and I did this several times, but I can't play at all because it always asks me to update again.

 ive logged on to EA to play the sims 4 and ive came across it needed a update (havent played in 2 months) so i thought it was normal and pressed update it took about 30 seconds which was quick but then it procced to tell me that it needs to be updated again i was like oh ok and updated it again at it keeps on telling me i need to update it again after it just got updated ive tried atleast 9 times now please help!!! 

I’m trying to launch the sims, but it constantly makes me update. It tells me there’s a “game update required” so I update the game, and when it’s done updating, it tells me there’s still a game update required. I have updated the game at least 5 times at this point, and it won’t let me play. It started after the most recent pregnancy patch.

I've been trying the last two days to play Sims 4. I already did the main update, however now it is stuck telling me I need an update, update it, just to go back to it "needing" an update. 

Anyone else having an issue launching the game? It keeps requesting i update, I do, it states update is complete and then it wants me to update it again. Ive been trying to get in all afternoon.

I'm currently unable to launch The Sims 4.  When I open the EA app, I'm prompted to accept the user agreements and update my game.  I've accepted the agreements and "updated my game" many times and the game still won't launch.  It continuously tells me I need to update the game.  I last played on July 24.  I've tried restarting the app, relogging in, restarting my computer, and completely removing my mods folder.  I'm completely at a loss for how to launch my game.

When going back into to play Sims 4 after a bit of a break, it prompted I needed to update it. I ran the update, it stated it was finished but showed it needed to be updated again. I have now run the update 3 times & it still showing an update is required. Please advise

hi! i was just experiencing the same thing. i cleared the ea app's cache, signed in again, and then tried to update the game again. that fixed the issue for me, but i would also try to repair the game if you're running into any more issues :) i hope your issue is resolved soon

Today I updated the sims and after not playing it for months  i updated it was successful but I clicked the play button and it made me update again after I did it again it said  i needed to do it again I have done it 3x nothing is happening
