SIMS 4 won't launch

Hi I have had the sims 4 collectors edition since its release date last Friday, but have not been able to play it thus far. Disc one installs fine, then when disc 2 is inserted a folder opens up with a zip folder. When I click on this it says the files are corrupted.

Once the game is installed and I click play an error box comes up which reads as follows:

TS4.exe Entry Point Not Found

The Procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL 32.dll.

When I close this error box there is a further message on Origin saying:

We're sorry, an error has occured. Invalid license. Reason code= Missing DLL: [msvcp120.dll] Error: 0x7F

I clicked the X and tried pressing play again and it looks as though its about to launch but then the screen goes blue and reads:

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows subsystem system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x7c911fcb0x0052dcb8) The System has been shut down.

I then have no chocie but to switch the computer off then on again and the above appear each attempt I make to play the game. I have even uninstalled it then reinstalled it a number of times and still does not work. It is getting very frustrating, please help

Rachel

I doubt it will run well.

Also with blue screen and all, something sounds wrong with your hardware.

Did you run a hardware check ?

Blue screen and restarting could be hardware or overheating issues.

    Check on your computer's temperature
