Cut and Paste the CC out. Add it back slowly, piece by piece and testing.
As this game updates CC/Mods are going to break. It's just a fact of life. The CC authors will need to update them.
Alternative is to re-download only CC that is compatible with the newest update. I would suspect they will say what version they were created for. Depends though.

I recently started having this problem. Sims 4 will launch, but will freeze with almost any CC. I've checked over 100 CCs and even when Sims 4 fully launches, no CC will show up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled my Sims 4 and all CC and still have this problem.

I have the same problem but it wont let me put a single file of cc into my folder. Are there any other mothods 😢

Try having to do this with 11,000+ files... lol you have to put them in separate folders to test. Its a system of elimination. Take a folder out, open the game, see if it works or not, if it does -- narrow it down to a specific item/file in that folder. I organize my folders based on the date of which I download them. So anything I download this month I put in a folder named 12-17.
