Sims 4 wont play
I open the EA app and click to start sims 4 and it says preparing game and minimizes the EA app but the game never opens and i have to go into task manager to force end both of them.

outback69 Thanks for the dxdiag, but it doesn't show any reason the game wouldn't open. So it's possible it's being blocked from starting rather than crashing.
Still, please please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
If that doesn't help, please check your antivirus for any actions related to Sims 4 or the EA App. If you see something flagged or quarantined, set an exception for it.
