Sims 4 won't update

I have been having this same problem. I have tried every possible solution that I have seen on the forum so far, including uninstalling and reinstalling Origin, restarting the computer, uninstalling Sims 4 (reinstalled from game discs), and running cleaners, but I cannot get the game to update or download Spa Day (I have all the other expansions and packs). This is the pop up window I have been getting: "The download server is not responding." I have reported the issue many times. The latest is under Report ID: 08a492d880022050. Please help! The game will not let me play without this update. I am getting extremely frustrated.

I have the same problem with the update, I bought The Sims 4 a month ago. 

If you just wanna play without updating the game (if that doesn't bother you), turn off the wifi connection: if it is turned off, Origin can't search for updates, so you can surely play.
