Glitching graphics and error with no mods installed

MeganH008​  For the graphics issue, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

For the BE report, I've seen a couple of these recently but am not sure what's causing them.  I'll ask around.  In general though, if you get a lastexception but your game is otherwise running fine, and you have no mods installed, you can typically ignore the error.

MeganH008​  The driver for your laptop's graphics chip is from 2020, so it's no wonder that you're seeing this issue.  Please install the newest driver from AMD:

Run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer afterwards and before trying to play.

Thank you so much I had no idea! I'm no good with computers but this has definitely fixed the graphic issue so thank you once again!

The graphics issue if fixed, however i am still having issues with the 'enum' error in the BE report and it is impacting the games ui menu i believe? Did you ever find a solution to this?

MeganH008​  Please test with your Mods folder removed, especially after the patch yesterday broke at least some mods and custom content.  Let me know what you see.

You can copy and paste the raw lastexception into your reply.  I'd rather have that than the BE report.

MeganH008​  This may help, although the drama_scheduler error has had multiple causes over the years.  And sorry for my own late reply by the way; I've been away from the forums for a bit.

If you're getting this error with no mods or custom content present, can you go ahead and play the household in question?  The error is often related to custom careers, and removing your mods would normally leave the sim without a career; they might get this error once and then allow you to play forward.

You could also put back updated versions of the custom careers, then remove your sims from those careers, save, quit, reload, and see whether it helps.  You could use "save as" rather than the normal "save" if you didn't want to overwrite your progress.
