Sims Delivery Error Code: 00000008:0000000000000000

Hi, I'm having this exact same issue and I've tried very thing that has been recommended on here. I was wondering what worked for you, if anything 🤔

@LadyELF1109  There isn't a current SDX update, so you shouldn't be seeing an error at all.  Please post a screenshot of it for reference.

I can't find the EADesktop.exe file on my computer, but the EA app is literally an app I keep pinned to my taskbar at all times.

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

Same problem here. I've been reinstalling the sims 4 on my new computer under windows 11 with the new EA app, and can't seem to get rid of this error. I've tried everything mentionned in this thread; adding to the windows firewall, to the ransomware protection, I don't have any other antivirus installed as far as I know, and I've deleted onedrive since it bugged me off, so it should not interfere. I'm at a loss as to what to do now. Any ideas?

@Meitaphore  Did you try the suggestion in the accepted solution?  And did you try a new admin Windows account?  Even if you have no intention of switching accounts overall, it's a useful test.

Hello, thanks for your answear. I had tried the accepted solutions without success, and decided to try a new admin account once the holidays would be over. However, once home, the game started working just fine. I don't know if it's something I did, or if it is linked to the wifi network I was using at my parent's house, but I can now connect to the gallery and the error don't appear anymore. Anyway, thanks again for the quick answear

I keep getting this error code pop up whenever I launch sims4. I've tried repairing the app, deleting mods and cc etc but it's still coming up.
