sims id not showing up

i tried to get my sims id but it keeps saying sim not found

    Sims.get_sim_id_by_name firstname lastname     (this gets the Sim's unique ID number)
    pregnancy.force_offspring_count ID # - so type out the ID exactly as you see it, and end it with the number of births you want.
    pregnancy.force_offspring_count 1341302010235 5  would spawn 5 babies in the stomach of the Sim with that ID (That's a crazy concept, but yeah..)
    Then, the pregnancy will run its course. I've determined reloading breaks it, but am not sure about travel, CAS, etc. I think it's best done in combination with:
    sims.add_buff buff_pregnancy_inlabor to go into labor instantly.

    Could you tell me a bit more about the issue you are having? 
    I'm not sure what you are trying to do.

    im trying to force twins but i need the sim's id but it keeps saying sim not found

    sims.get_sim_id_by_name (first name) (last name)

    Just ensure that you're entering the command accurately:  sims.get_sim_id_by_name <first_name> <last_name>

    The console should return "has sim id: <simID>"

    If you're unable to get a result after verifying command syntax I can post a script mod which you can use to retrieve the sim details.

    You need too take away the middle name or the 2 last name it can just be one single name as first and last
