Sims keeps Crashing

I dont know why but ever since a couple days ago my sims keeps crashing, like it lets me play for a bit and then crashes. I know it cant be because of any mods or cc because I've had them for months and the game has worked perfectly. I've seen lots of people having the same issues and trying all the solutions and it still not working, and they're blaming it on the new update. I've never had anything wrong with my game before so that's why I am on the side that the update is at fault. I just want to know if anything will be done to fix it, or even if there is a way to fix it?
