Sims Won't Load Past Loading Screen

Apologies, as I'm new here, but I've been having a problem with The Sims 4 for a few hours this morning.

Last night, or more around midnight, technically, I had downloaded a lot of custom content and saved it to my mods folder, and when I went to start up The Sims 4 this morning, I found that it wouldn't pass the title screen and would stop responding. After removing the mods folder from the Electronic Arts folder, I discovered it was due to a piece of custom content. Initially, I started removing custom content in collections of twelve, and then finally one in fifteen.

Loading up the game after this seemed to work, however when I went to test my remaining custom content and see which piece of content had caused the bug, it went back to refusing to load on the title screen. I did the 50/50 method and even went to take out content one by one until I had content that worked on the game prior. Curious, I decided to test if my prior content still worked. Unfortunately, it did not, as the game still refused to load on the title screen.

Is this a problem due to an update, or is this just my copy of the game?

For context, I repaired my expansion packs and games twice before beginning the 50/50 process and such.

    Removing mods isn't enough.

Move the mods folder to the desktop.
Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game - important!.
Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if a game is working now without mods and CC.
Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
You need to find a culprit and either remove it or replace it with an updated version
I know you have checked it but try to do it in this way like it is described above.
If it will not work try doing a factory reset of the game folder as described in this post:
