bvnzz  Does this happen in all saves, including a new one?  Plese test for comparison's sake.  If the new save is fine, move your existing sims to a different, EA-made lot, as a test.  You don't need to save your progress; just let me know what happens.

If the new save is affected too, please post a dxdiag, as described.
