Sims4 Crashing: The exception unknown software exception (0xe0000008)

This crash happens when a game is using 100% of your computer's visual memory. There are a few steps you can try to increase visual memory if you look up this error (I just copied and pasted "The exception unknown software exception (0xe0000008) occurred in the application at location 0x00007FF8ADBCBB0A" into a search engine and found lots of information), but it might just be that your computer can't handle the game.

endlessapage93  Please uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and use the Advanced scanning method.  Restart your computer, download a fresh copy of the App installer, and run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."

If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

cooldood555  I'm guessing you meant virtual memory?  That's an entirely different matter than video memory, or VRAM.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but the game still crashes. The dxdiag states no problem
