SIms4 folder not showing up at all after update

I go to documents then electronic arts, but then the only folder that shows up is sims3. I tried repairing, so then sims4 folder showed up for awhile, but disappeared again when I shut computer down. So I tried repair again, but no success this time. I was wanting to remove some mods because I keep getting an mc command center exception. but can't remove mods if sims4 folder isn't showing

    sppnz​  If you're opening the game, the folder has to exist somewhere, and the fact that you're getting a mod-related error means it's not a new folder each time, rather it's maintaining your mods and other data.  So it sounds like you're not looking in the correct location.  Here's how to find the folder:

    Repairing shouldn't restore any Sims 4 folder, so I'm not sure why that's happening.
