I'm trying to get the EA app up and running so I can play Sims4 before Origin is no longer able to. I have repaired the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing changes. It still tries to launch then a box pops up saying Your game failed to launch and to double check my connection or try later. Do I need to change something in my settings? Please help!
@ajagio This is a common issue with the EA App at the moment. It's usually easier to just keep using Origin. If you've uninstalled it, or the EA App uninstalled it automatically, you can download the installer from the link in this thread:
If you'd like to troubleshoot the EA App issue, try clearing its cache:

If that doesn't help, please let me know whether you own any other EA games, and if so, whether they launch normally or also give you an error.
Ok so I was basically forced to download the ea app as it would not let me proceed on my origin. I did that and then the sims 4 would not launch. I right clicked on the ea app desktop icon and clicked properties\ compatibility/ run as administrator and click apply and ok. I then right clicked on my sims 4 logo on desktop app and did the same thing except UNTICKED run and administrator, clicked apply and ok then my game started. Hope this helps!
i right clicked on sims 4 and clicked properties and i don't see run as administrator and it still won't launch pls help
@dummythicccccccc Are you right-clicking on the Sims 4 desktop shortcut? If not, please try it. If that's not working, search your computer for TS4_x64 and right-click that, then follow the suggestion.
If that doesn't help either, please post in this thread:
Create an EA App error report and include the report ID in your post, as described in the accepted solution on page one.

@jazzy111713 Disable your antivirus, repair the game in the EA App, and look again for TS4_x64. If it's back, you can reenable your antivirus and set the necessary exceptions.
I can't see anywhere to repair the game in the EA app, it doesn't allow me to right click and no other options appear other than 'play' or 'manage add-ons'

My sims 4 won’t work either tried clicking the desktop icon says it’s been loaded on by another account and then when I try load it on the EA app it says try again later. Even tried doing the run as administrator on the EA app and still didn’t work l. I’ve no idea what to do. Had no issues with it 3 days ago but that’s when origin forced me to go onto the EA app
