Steam and EA DLC not working

(PS I'm not the best with typing so bear with me) Please help I just want to play the sims 4 but its saying that my DLC isn't installed but at the same time it is. I own some DLC on steam and some on EA.  On EA it says that the packs are installed but when i open the game its not installed. On steam it says all the DLC are installed but again when i open it, its not there
