ShelbersG Sims 4 doesn't delete user data by default, but there are a couple reasons this could happen anyway. First, where is the game installed? If you've downloaded it through the EA App, you can see the location there, under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties. A Steam install should be here by default:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4
but let me know if you've changed the location.
Please also let me know whether OneDrive is running on this computer. Even if you never use it, OneDrive could be syncing your data. And if your C drive is low on free space, it could remove any synced data from your computer to try to "help," and that could include your Sims 4 saves.
