Stuck on save

frbch  This issue is sometimes caused or exacerbated by mods and custom content, so please remove your Mods folder and see whether you still can't save.  You can use "save as" rather than "save" so you don't overwrite your progress.

Please also let me know whether OneDrive is running on this computer, even if you never use it.

Separately, what do you mean by letting your computer sleep a little?  Are you restarting the computer after you close the game, or at least before the next time you play?  Not doing so can cause various issues that masquerade as something else, so it's always helpful to restart your computer frequently while troubleshooting.

I have been having the exact same problem. The only expansion I have is Cats and Dogs. I have removed mods and tested with new households and the issue persists. I have already tried repairing the game. If I place a few items and then go to manage worlds it gets stuck on a loading screen.

Whenever I try to save after placing a few items in build mode the game just gets stuck saving. This has made it basically unplayable for me as the only thing I really do in the sims is build things.

Upon further investigation it could be from bb.moveobjects? I can place an item and its able to save, and then if I place the same item in a location requiring bb.moveobjects it will be stuck on the saving screen if I save afterwards. This is very inconvenient and obviously something to do with an update as it has always worked fine for me previously.

EllaBellu  It is absolutely possible that placing items with the moveobjects cheat is the issue.  But it shouldn't affect all objects in all locations.  What exactly are you trying to place, and how?  I'm curious to know if there's a pattern, for example you can place as many of X item as you want but as soon as you use moveobjects on an item in category Y, you can't save.

Please also let me know whether this happens in a new save, still with no mods or custom content.
