stuck on the loading page

hi, i need help. i’ve been stuck on the loading page for a while. this happened when i was about to go home with my sims, and its just stuck there. when i restart and try to resume my gameplay it wouldn’t work. 

i tried following some youtube tutorials, tried repairing the game, and i also tried redownloading the game. nothing worked. 

i bought the game and the packs legally through EA. i don’t have any mods, nor do i use any CC, so i don’t really know what to fix.
