The gameplay area is unusable

Question

I am unable to play the game. All icons that do load, just remain on the screen and lag/drag around when I try to move. The menu options work, but I cannot see any of the build/world to interact and play.

The screenshot shows that I am in Live mode, but the menu buttons are just showing in the background, despite no longer actually being open.

I have tried loading multiple households, and this keeps happening. I play on the PC and my game is fully updated as of 4/6/25.

have you tried repairing your game yet ?
Does it happen on any save game or just that particular one ?
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

Press Windows-Key + R
Type: DxDiag
Click on Save all Information.
Attach the Text File to your post

Hello! I just repaired my game, and the issue is persisting. I tried opening the same save, and was actually able to view some of the build, but there was still a lag, and the graphics were terrible. Then I opened another save and got another blue/unusable screen. Also I uploaded a third screenshot from yesterday that showed more of the lag, and my DxDiag is attached! Thank you in advance!

your graphics drivers seem to have an issue.
Try the steps here to cleanly reinstall them: https://crinrict.com/blog/2019/02/clean-re-install-of-graphics-drivers-with-display-driver-uninstaller-ddu.html&nbsp;
