The Sims 4 crashes immediately after launch

The Sims 4 no longer starts on my HP Victus 16 laptop.

The EA App launches the game and shows "Preparing Game". A white window appears, then the game closes and returns to the EA App. One time the game reached the main menu but immediately froze. Since then it always crashes.

Windows Reliability Monitor reports:

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

Application: TS4_x64.exe

Faulting Module: TS4_x64.exe

Exception Code: c0000005

The game worked on this laptop before.

I have already completely reinstalled Windows 11, reinstalled the EA App, reinstalled The Sims 4, repaired the game, created a new Sims 4 user folder, removed McAfee, confirmed there are no mods or custom content, ran SFC /scannow (which repaired corrupted Windows files), and tested both the normal and DirectX 9 executables. My RTX 4060 and Intel graphics are detected correctly and DxDiag reports no DirectX or graphics issues. Other games, including The Sims 2, work normally.

Could you please advise if this is a known issue or if there are additional logs or diagnostics you would like me to provide?
