I recently purchased and downloaded the Sims 4 through Origin, and although I have downloaded it the game will not install. The install option is available but when I click it, the bar quickly loads and says "installation complete"...except it does not give me the option to play the game and I have not gone through any type of installation process. Please help ☹️
Please manually uninstall Origin, then download the latest version of Origin and run the installation again. After the reinstall please do a Clean Boot and restart your router. Then make sure that you have added firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and opened the needed ports. After this when starting Origin, please make sure to run it as Admin (right click Origin shortcut, go to Properties - Compatibility and tick the 'Run this program as Admin' box). Then try to install the game again.
