Transferring Game Packs
Hello, I have recently bought a laptop and have began playing sims 4 on said laptop. I have been a console player (xbox series x) player for 8 years now and have accumulated around 75% of the packs on the sims 4. Since moving onto my laptop every so often I realised how bland the game is without my packs so I have tried everything to move them onto my laptop. I have looked through steam and EA to regain my game packs but realised I would need to repurchase them. I have contacted EA support a fair few times and have 2 different responses on this problem.
I was originally told that I will need to redownload my packs onto the xbox cloud in order to get them but the sims 4 isn't available unless you have game pass ultimate (which is £22 a month) but I have game pass essential so I don't want to upgrade. I then contacted a week later when I had free time explaining what I was told previously only to be told that EA can't put my game packs onto the xbox cloud gaming but they could transfer them into my steam account instead. I told them to proceed with this option but because I was using a different email the request couldn't be fulfilled unless I change the request onto the email I would like to use. I then signed onto my wanted email account and the EA help was refusing to connect me to an advisor to continue my appeal.
This whole situation is confusing me and I just want my beloved game packs on my laptop to make the game more enjoyable rather than repaying hundreds just to replace them. I hope you guys understand what is happening and could give me ideas to the situation.
