Unable to connect to EA servers to activate The Sims 4

This is really annonying ☹️ I encounter this problem for both SimCity and The Sims 4 ☹️((

Are you getting anything like this? http://prntscr.com/83t888 ... I only installed both origin and the sims 4 on this new windows install and already I can't even start it .-.

I just installed Origin and Sims 4 on my Macbook Pro, and I get the "Unable to connect to EA servers" message. I have played it on this Macbook before, but I just deleted everything on my harddrive and reinstalled my OS and then Origin. I never had this message before on either my Macbook or my PC.

I just bought the game today. It installed/downloaded but every time i click play the message 'unable to connect...' comes up

Yes, I played Sims 4 quite a lot but been on a slump for a month. Upgraded earlier to windows 10 but I don't think that's the problem. ☹️

Yes same here, have had it installed since before Xmas and just stopped working today.
