Unable to load set of sims

Hello! I’ve seen variations of this problem, but never to the extent that I am experiencing. Essentially, I cannot load 4 households. I can play any other household no problem, households I have played before and households I haven’t. When I try to play one of the 4 problem households, from the main menu and/or manage worlds, The loading screen never changes. the quotes change and diamond spins but it never loads. the sims I cannot play all used to live under one roof, and I recently moved the adult children out. I have been able to play fine for the past few days, with the individual adults and main family, when suddenly I cannot load the original household and none of the children. I even saved the sims to the gallery and moved them to a new save, and the problem persists. I have done the obvious, removed all CC/Mods, repaired game, updated, tested in new save, restarted computer, etc. I can invite the sims over and visit their home through other households with no problem. I also tested by transferring one of the sims to a different household, and once that occurred I was unable to play with that new household. Like I said, the problem persists with CC and mods removed. One thing of note, before this happened, I removed all my furniture CC because I decided not to use it anymore. I don’t see how this could be a problem since none of the houses of the sims have cc in them, and the problem continues with cc removed, and i can’t even play the sims in a fresh save with fresh houses, but I do feel like this was significant to mention since it happened right before. Any help is much appreciated! I’ve been playing with this family for 3 gens so I would really like to save them.

    I think I am having the same problem. I don’t use a ton of mods or CC. Made sure all the mods were up to date, removed some the of CC, repaired the game and I can’t get my household to load. I can load into the main menu but once I click resume it endlessly loads with new quotes and spinning diamond. Been trying to fix it for a little over a hour now.

    TessaWright  Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you find.  Try to load one of these households again, with your Mods folder removed.  See whether you get another lastexception, and if you do, open it, delete the first line of text, and attach it to a reply here.

    autumnalv97  If you have the same issue with your Mods folder removed, please do the above.  If the household does load, you don't need to save your progress with no mods or cc present; this is just a test.
