Unplayable with June 4th Patch

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.134.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Discover University, Eco Life Style, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Vampires, Parenthood, Jungle Adventure, Realm of Magic, Perfect Patio Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Kids Room Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, Bowling Night Stuff, Toddler Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff, Tiny Living Stuff, Holiday Celebration Pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When a family is selected and the game loads for you to play that family, that's when I have issues.
What happens when the bug occurs? The mood icons are missing, in the menu where you see the sims traits the celebrity status and reputation stats are missing. when I exit build mode or the gallery the game does not enter play mode. I become unable to play the sims or have any interaction with the game. There are no menus, emotions, etc. The sims move on their own but their is nothing to click.
What do you expect to see? I want to be able to use MCC Command Center and the UI Extension Mods. I want to be able to see my emotions, and menus, and I don't want my game to freeze or playability to disappear when I exit the gallery or build mode.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I play Sims 4 every day for at least an hour to eight hours a day. On June 2nd, I played until 11:00PM that night and my game worked fine, no problems at all. After the June 3rd patch my game stopped working and I continued to have the same issues with the June 4th patch. I have deleted mods, uninstalled origin and Sims 4 and reinstalled them, deleted cashes, repaired the game, updated my MAC, followed all of the recommendations that the online chat techs supported me with. The ONLY difference is the June patch.

I have contacted the EA online assistance 4 times in the past week and I feel like there is nothing they or I can do. I would really like to see a another patch that will fix these issues.

    HI @abuelaohaha 

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    Make sure that you have downloaded up to date mods to work with the recent patches and expansion pack

    My problem is on the PC, after creating in build mode, once in play mode, do not have sim board in the bottom right corner, no whims, no way to save.

    Everything is loaded correctly, but the patch messed up game play.

    @abuelaohaha  Did you test in a clean user data folder with no added content, as Crinrict described?  Even if you checked all your mods, one of them might still be broken: the creator could have missed something, there could be a new issue after the second patch, etc.  Please let us know how the game runs in a new save in the clean folder.

    @1moo62  Please try the factory reset that Crinrict explained in post 2 of this thread, and let us know whether it makes a difference.

    Same thing happened to me. You just have to update your mods or if you don't want to do that then you can turn off the mod switch in the game. The out of date UI cheats mod is what's most likely causing you problems.

    Moved my mods out, updated UI and still cannot play.

    @1moo62  Please move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  Then open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair,

    When you launch the game, a clean Sims 4 folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save and see whether you can play for a bit.  Let me know either way.

    If you still can't run the game, please describe what happens when you try.  Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
