The game is completely unplayable since yesterdays updates. I use zero mods and only use regular game play. My game is so slow loading that dial-up would be considered faster. My sims won't complete tasks as assigned. My sims wouldn't participate in the new adventure tasks. Who wants to keep paying for a game I can't play. I was excited for this new update and now I wish it hadn't happened at all. The game is 100% worse than it was.
onyxrose090283 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
Let me know which problems, if any, are present in the new save. If the answer is none, you can copy one of your existing saves to the new Sims 4 folder and test that too.
For reference, please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
